These are the terms and conditions of using www.sophiebearspawcraftedgifts.co.uk

Placing an order with us means that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions. These terms are not a substitute for your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. 

Throughout the website, "us", "we" and "our" refer to Sophie Bear's Paw Crafted Gifts. Sophie Bear's Paw Crafted Gifts offers this website including all tools, information and services to you, the user, under the condition of your acceptance of all policies, notices, terms and conditions stated here.

Section 1 - Acceptance and terms of use of website

Any amendments, updates or changes may be made to the website at any time without notice to the customer.  Customers continued use and/or purchases made through the website shall be deemed acceptance of such changes. Such changes may include, but are not limited to products, prices, terms and policies. New items may be added to the website and existing products may be altered/changed or removed without any notice. It is the customer's responsibility to check for changes.

Section 2- Products and care

Some products may only be available exclusively through our website or via sales in market. Such products may have limited quantities. Colours and images of our products may not appear as they do physically due to computer monitor display colour accuracy. We reserve the right to limit the sales and quantities of our products to any person on a case by case basis. All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue a product at any time. We do not guarantee that the quality of any of the products purchased by you will meet your expectations. The customer acknowledges that a product is being purchased on the basis of images and information provided on product listings, of which its sole purpose is to provide the customer with an approximate idea of the product being purchased. The customer understands that snuffle products are for enrichment purposes only and it is up to the customer to judge whether such products are suitable for their pet, as well as disposing such items if they become damaged or no longer fit for purpose. We take no responsibility if these products are unsuitable after purchase. Due to the handmade nature of all products, the customer acknowledges that all measurements and sizes are approximate and there is possibility of slight variations as well as minor imperfections. We reserve the right to change sizes and variations of products and it is the customer's responsibility to monitor such changes. The customer accepts that washing and care instructions are advice only and we cannot guarantee the quality of items after washing. We are not responsible for the outcome if you do not follow these instructions.

Section 3- Ordering and payments

Products are purchased by the customer by following the procedure set out on the website. An order is deemed complete once payment has been accepted by Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts. Acceptance of an order is provided to the customer via email. We reserve the right to refuse an order, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, household or order. These restrictions may include orders placed under the same customer account, credit card with the same billing/shipping address. In the event of changing or cancelling an order, we may attempt to contact you using the information you have provided at the time the order was made. If it appears, based on judgement, that an order has been placed by dealers, resellers or distributors, we have the right to prohibit or limit these orders. If the customer orders an item that is currently unavailable but can be made to order, we will agree an estimated time of delivery, which the customer can either agree or elect for a cancellation of the order. If the product is no longer available, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and a full refund will be issued. Payments for products will be made via a secure e-commerce platform with whom Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts has contracted for a secure payment system. We accept no responsibility or liability for any failure in the secure online payment system. You agree to provide up to date account information so that orders can be completed promptly and you can be contacted as needed. We shall not be liable for any delays or damage during transit, loss, costs or any other expenses as a result of a customer making a purchase.

Section 4- Delivery

We will endeavour to do our best to deliver products within the specified time frame provided for each product. If there is going to be a delay, you will be notified via email at the earliest opportunity. We cannot accept liability for delay during transit and cannot be held responsible for delivery to be made on a set day or particular time. Delivery charges stated are for UK mainland only. The customer is responsible for additional charges for remote areas such as Channel Islands, Northern Island and the Highlands. Delivery charges stated on the website include postage and packaging via Royal Mail or Evri. These charges may change without notice to the customer based on postage charges and packaging costs. If customer's presence or signature is required at delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to provide the best possible address to facilitate this request. Local delivery is only available to customers within a CB11 postcode. A date and time will be agreed between the customer and Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts once the customer's order is ready for delivery. The customer must be at the agreed address upon delivery. Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts can leave the parcel at an agreed safe place, however, we are not responsible for any loss or damage after items have been left. If the customer is unavailable at the agreed address and has not specified a safe place, we will take your order back and an additional charge will be made for your item to be delivered via Evri or Royal Mail.

Section 5- Returns, exchanges and cancellations

Customers may cancel an order, provided that these terms are complied with, within 14 days of receipt of items. In the first instance, the customer should contact Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts by emailing sophiebearspawcraftedgifts@outlook.com and the customer will be advised of the correct address which the customer is responsible for sending the item to within 28 days. The customer is responsible for return costs. A full refund will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the item back, provided the product is still in good and resalable condition upon return. This includes the product being in its original packaging. If a customer wishes to exchange an item, they will be asked to return the original item at their own expense in good resalable condition and a refund of the product price will be processed once received. The customer can then make a new order of their preferred item. This ensures an efficient recording of all available products. In the event that a product is damaged upon receipt, the customer should advise us within 48 hours of receipt and we will do our upmost to replace this item within a reasonable timeframe, offer a discounted price or refund the product price, minus postage.

Section 6- Online Security

It is important to make sure that when you are buying from a website that it's secure. If you are entering sensitive information, such as address, credit card details and other personal information, make sure that you can see a padlock icon in your browser window. If this icon is not present, the website that you're using may not be secure and your personal information may be subject to fraudulent use. Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts has an SSL certificate to ensure that this information is protected and can only be visible to the secure server.

Section 7- Intellectual property rights and prohibited uses

The customer acknowledges that all intellectual property contained in this website including its design, content, text, graphics, software and source codes connected to the website belongs to Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts. We grant limited licence solely for personal use only such as downloading or printing pages and the customer is not permitted to make any modifications, including when forwarding to a third party. The customer is not entitled to integrate any part of the website or publication without written permission from us. You are prohibited from using this website for any unlawful or immoral purpose including, but not limited to harassment, abuse, slander, defamation, intimidation or discrimination, to submit false or misleading information, to transmit malicious codes that will affect the functionality of other websites or interfere with their security features and to collect or track the personal information of others.

Section 8- Third party links

Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts may provide you with access to third party tools such as Facebook and Instagram which we cannot monitor. We have no liability relating to your choice to use these optional third-party tools. These tools are provided entirely at your own risk. We may in future update and include new services and features related to these terms.

Section 9- Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information

Sophie Bear's Paw Crafted Gifts are not responsible if information made available on this website is not accurate, complete or current. Material on this website is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions. Any reliance on information provided is solely at your own risk. This site may contain material which is not current and is provided for your reference only. We have the right to update site contents at any time, but also have no obligation to update certain information. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor if any changes do occur. Occasionally there may be information on our site which contains inaccuracies and errors relating to product descriptions, pricing, shipping charges, offers, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct these errors and inaccuracies, to change and update relevant information and cancel orders if any related information is incorrect (including after submitting an order). We are not responsible for safe returns of any product when being returned by a customer and your item will not be refunded if it does not reach the appropriate return address within the 28 days stated. We therefor advise that customers return items via a secure method of delivery such as recorded or special delivery so that proof of delivery can be provided.

Section 10- Absence

Due to the nature of Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted gifts being run solely on an individual basis, the customer understands that due to events or circumstances out of our control, which may include, but are not limited to family emergencies, holidays and illness, some disruption to the service may occur. This may cause disruption to delivery time frames and/or making of products. Customers will be made aware of holidays via  our website and social media. The customer understands that it is their responsibility to take note of this. If the customer has placed an order and events such as illness and family emergency arise, we will do our upmost to deliver your item in the specified time. The customer will be notified of any potential delays and can choose to wait for their order or request a full refund which will be processed at our next available convenience. 

Section 11- Comments and reviews

We are under no obligation to maintain any comments in confidence or respond to comments. We may monitor, edit or remove content that we determine at our sole discretion to be threatening, defamatory, offensive, unlawful or otherwise objectionable. You agree that your own comments will not violate any of these terms. You may not use false information or pretend to be anyone other than yourself to mislead us as to the origin or your comment. Occasionally, Sophie Bear's Pawcrafted Gifts may send out invitations to customers to review our products. This is intended to help potential customers with a purchase that they may wish to make and it also helps us to grow our business. Reviews are very much appreciated, but are not obligatory.
